Welcome! Tweens Ministry Updates

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Mission: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge cloud of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. 3. Think of all the hostility He endured from sinful people, then you won’t become weary and give up.” Hebrews 12:1-3 (NLT)

The Oasis

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Tweens have a new room located behind the gym in the Family Life Center.  Our room is called “The Oasis”.  Oasis means a fertile spot in a desert where water is found.  In John 4:10 Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well, “If you knew the gift of God and who is is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water.”  It is our prayer that our tweens will experience and drink in the Living Water that will satisfy them for a lifetime.

SCHEDULE :  We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am – 10:30 am.  You may choose to worship together as a family at the 11:0o am service.  All tweens are invited to attend Mrs. Alison’s service in the fellowship hall after our tweens service.  Our Wednesday night service begins at 7:00 pm.  We will begin with worship in “The Studio” with Billy G. and the youth.  We will return to “The Oasis” for Bible study.  We will finish with a game in the gym.
